A neomycin selection cassette replaced exons 2 and 3. RT-PCR analysis on skin RNA showed absence of transcripts in homozygous mice and Western blot analysis on protein extracts prepared from foot pads showed that no detectable protein was expressed from this allele. (J:263069)
