Cas9 was used to mediate the insertion, into the Xba site between exons 1 and 2, of a 4kb SA-(loxP-stop-loxP)-mycPTXa cassette, resulting in this knockin allele in which exposure to Cre recombinase will excise the loxP-flaked stop cassette allowing expression of the catalytic subunit of Pertussis toxin. There is a single myc tag in-frame N-terminal to Pertussis toxin. (J:236519)
