The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted at position 91119563 of Chromosome 2 into intron 2 (Build GRCm38). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site is inserted into intron 5 at position 91120795. Exons 3-5 are thus flanked by loxP sites. The lacZ and neo cassettes were removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination and exons 3-5 were deleted through cre-mediated recombination. (J:262067)
