A Neomycin resistance gene cassette (flanked by FRT sites) was inserted between exons 2 and 3. The first and second loxP sites were inserted upstream of the neomycin selection cassette and downstream of exon 5, respectively. The neomycin selection cassete was removed via flp-mediated recombination. (J:260669)
