The targeting vector is designed to insert a hemagglutinin (HA) tag, followed by an internal ribosome entry site (IRES) fused to an enhanced red fluorescent protein (tdTomato) sequence, at the 3' end of the gene. The vector also contained a loxP-flanked neomycin selection (neo) cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:305328)
