The L1L2_Bact_P cassette containing a FRT-En2 splice acceptor (SA)-IRES-lacZ-SV40 polyadenylation signal (pA)-loxP-human Beta-actin promoter-neoR-SV40 polyadenylation signal (pA)-FRT-loxP sequence was inserted upstream of exon 3 and an additional loxP site downstream of exon 3 (at position 152817361). Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neo cassette and exon 3. No gene product (protein) is detected by western blot analysis of neutrophil cell lysates from homozygotes. (J:260777)
