The mouse BAC (CITB-5288D7) was used to make targeted transgenic mice, but an unexpected deletion in the BAC resulted in the deletion of the Zfy2 gene. X-chromosome directed transgenesis was performed by cassette mediated exchange (CME). This line is used as a control for other targeted transgenic lines with insertions into the HPRT locus.
