LoxP sites were inserted into SalI and BglII sites within the introns 5 and 6, respectively. An FRT site flanked neomycin selection cassette was inserted into intron 6 and was subsequently removed via flp-mediated recombination, leavuing a conditional-ready allele with exon 6 floxed. (J:228507)
