The targeting vector is designed to replace exons 1-3 of the gene with an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) sequence followed by a loxP-flanked neomycin selection (neo) cassette. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. (J:257973)
