The alpha-MHC-PDK4 transgene consists of a 5.5-kb segment of the myosin, heavy polypeptide 6, cardiac muscle, alpha (Myh6; also called alpha-MHC) gene promoter, a 1.3-kb human pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase, isoenzyme 4 (PDK4) cDNA, and the 0.6-kb human growth hormone gene polyadenylation signal. Two independent lines were established. (J:132373)
