A loxP site was inserted into intron 3 and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette and a second loxP site into intron 13. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination, leaving a conditional-ready allele with exons 4-13 floxed. Exons 8-13 code for the kinase domain. (J:226871)
