Exons 4-6 were flanked by loxP sites. Beta-galactosidase reporter and neomycin selection cassettes, flanked by FRT sites, were inserted into intron 3. Flp-mediated recombination removed the reporter and selection cassettes, leaving exons 4-6 floxed. (J:250144)
