The transgene was constructed using BAC recombineering with galK (galactose kinase) selection. BAC clone BAC172 carries the Il4, Il13 and Il15 genes. The ATG start codon of the Il13 gene is targeted with galK, galK is then targeted with DsRed sequence. (J:257214)
