An Y88A mutation was introduced in exon 2 and an FRT flanked pgk-neo cassette was inserted in intron 2 via homologous recombination. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. RT-PCR indicates expression is initiated but is not maintained in embryos. (J:257034)
