The targeting construct was generated to insert an IRES sequence, a Cre recombinase, and Frt-flanked PGK-neomycin resistance cassette at the 3' end of Oxt coding sequence by homologous recombination. Chimeric mice were bred to flp expressing mice to delete the neo selection cassette. (J:253430)
