A loxP site and an frt-flanked neomycin selection cassette were inserted 5' to exon 6 and a single loxP site was inserted 3' to exon 6. The neomycin selection cassette was removed in the germline via Flp recombination in the final conditional allele, leaving loxP sites flanking exon 6. (J:229307)
