A 9.4 kb portion of the upstream regulatory sequence for human S100B was inserted upstream of the coding sequence for the reverse tetracycline transactivator (rtTA) and human growth hormone polyadenylation sequences. This construct was used to create transgenic mice. Five founders were generated but only one gave robust expression in Schwann cells. The other four lines were discarded. (J:109980)
