The targeting vector contains a loxP-flanked PGK-Neo selection cassette inserted downstream of exon 2 of the targeted gene, and another loxP site inserted upstream of exon 2. Cre-mediated recombination removed the downstream floxed neo cassette and left exon 2 floxed. (J:253437)
