The targeting construct inserted a slice acceptor, loxP site, two polyadenylation sequences, an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette, a STOP cassette, a second loxP site, a simian diphtheria toxin receptor (heparin- binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor), IRES sequence, tdTomato reporter gene and polyadenylation sequence. Flp-mediated recombination removed the resistance cassette but left the STOP cassette floxed. (J:263766)
