LoxP sites were inserted flanking exon 5 and a Frt-Neo-Frt (FNF) positive selection cassette was inserted adjacent to the 3' loxP site. The Neo cassette was removed in mice via Flp-mediated recombination, leaving loxP sites flanking exon 5. (J:228899)
