The transgene comprises the neuronal specific mouse promoter, the tetracycline transactivator cDNA and poly(A) features. The transgene construct was microinjected into the proneclei of C57BL/6 zygotes. Two lines, this line and number 6, were selected for further study. The two lines display a different neuronal expression pattern in the brain. Transgenic mice appear normal. (J:213543)
