A construct containing a tetracycline promoter and a GFP fusion with a Mir30-based short hairpin sequence targeting Smc1a (Smc1a-3921) was inserted in the 3' UTR. Following tetracycline induced expression of the RNAi expression of Smc1a is strongly reduced and expression of associated protein members of the cohesin complex are also reduced. (J:229031)
