A targeting vector containing a FRT site flanked neo cassette with a downstream loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 5. A second loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving exon 4 floxed. (J:175858, J:228945)
