The transgene was generated by using a BAC of the clone RP23-371G13 which harbors the three Tff genes (Tff1, Tff2, Tff3) into which an inducible cre recombinase gene (cre/ERT2), the optimized reverse tetracycline/doxycycline-controlled transactivator (rtTA), and the coding sequence of the firefly luciferase (Luc) were introduced at the genomic sequence immediately upstream of the ATG start codon of the endogenous Tff1, Tff2, and Tff3 genes, respectively with each expression cassette followed by polyadenylation (pA)-signal. Four lines were generated with similar expression patterns. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:237622)
