A CreERT2 cassette was inserted downstream of the initiation codon of Foxc2 gene, followed by an Frtflanked PGK-neo sequence via homologouse recombination in embryonic stem (ES) cells. Correctly targeted ES cells were injected into host blastocysts to produce germline chimeric males. Chimeric mice were crossed with Act-FLPe mice to remove the PGK-neo selection cassette. (J:237938)
