The human ventricular myosin essential light chain cDNA with a 43-amino acid N-terminal truncation is under the control of the mouse alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter, including the first two exons and part of the third. The truncated protein is similar in sequence to the short MYL3 present in skeletal muscle. Multiple lines were generated (L2, L4, L5, L7, L8, and L9), however, the pound symbol (#) is used when line is not specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:195614)
