The murine beta-myosin heavy chain promoter drives the expression of a Ptpn11 cDNA which contains the amino acid substitution of glutamate for glutamine at position 510 (Q510E). Q510E is a dominant-negative loss-of-function mutation. The beta-myosin heavy chain promoter drives transgene expression starting around E11 and the transgene is expressed stably and continuously after birth. Several lines were generated including: 1, 3, 5, and 6, however, the pound symbol (#) is used when line is not specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:181656)
