The mouse cardiac truncated protein lacking both the myosin and titin protein binding domains is under the control of the mouse alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter. Western blot analysis confirmed expression of the truncated protein. The truncated protein shows aberrant incorporation into sarcomeres. Five lines were generated: 21, 33, 31, 32, and 15. This is one of the high expressing lines, showing over 6-fold expression levels. (J:50237)
