A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 3 and a loxP site and FRT flanked neomycin cassette were inserted downstream of exon 6 via homologous recombination. FLP- and Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 3-6 and the neomycin selection cassette. No protein is detected in tissues from homozygous mice. (J:243111)
