The targeting vector is designed to delete residues 31-52, removing the PKC binding domain. A loxP-flanked PGK-neomycin-bGHpA (bovine growth hormone) cassette is placed upstream of the targeted area. Cre-mediated recombination removed the upstream floxed neo cassette. (J:242891)
