A lacZ reporter replaced the 3' end of exon encoding the N-terminus of isoform 2. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. RT-PCR confirmed the absence of transcripts for isoform 2 but expression of isoform 1 transcript. (J:242481)
