The construct used to create Tg(Cela1-cre/ERT)1Dam was used to generate this transgenic mouse line. The construct contained a fused 200 bp enhancer of the elastase gene to a minimal hsp68 promoter followed by CreER coding sequence. Five founders were identified that showed acinar-specific expression. (J:102226, J:241207)
