A single loxP site into intron 2 upstream of exon 3, and an loxP-flanked neo cassette into intron 3 were inserted via homologous recombination in ES cells. The PGK-neo cassette was removed by transient transfection of cre expressing plasmid prior to introduction into blastcyst. (J:240316)
