An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted upstream of the coding sequence. An F3-flanked puromycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted downstream of the coding exon. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassettes and left the coding sequence floxed. (J:226403)
