A loxP site was inserted upstream of the coding sequence in exon 1. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 1. Authors state that this allele is hypomorphic because low levels of transcript are detected while no protein is detected. (J:235238)
