A loxP site was inserted into intron 1 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted within intnron 3. Flp-mediated recombination in mice removed the selection cassette and left exons 2 through 3 flanked by loxP sites. (J:235186)
