A loxP site was inserted into intron 5; an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette and the inverted cDNA for the human B isoform plus myc-tag sequence followed by an inverted splice acceptor site and an inverted loxP site were inserted into intron 6. Cre-mediated recombination inverted the sequence between the loxP sites and removed the selection cassette. RT-PCR confirmed expression of the transgene from this allele. (J:238133)
