A loxP site was inserted into intron 1 and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette and a further loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 4. Exons 2, 3 and 4 and the neo cassette were removed through subsequent cre-mediated recombination, creating a null allele. (J:238174)
