A loxP-flanked puromycin selection cassette replaced alternatively spliced exon 29. Cre-mediated recombination deleted the selection cassette, leaving a single loxP site in place of exon 29. Exon 29 is excluded in the transcript expressed in fetal tissues, but is present in the transcript expressed shortly after birth and in adult tissues. (J:235534)
