The targeting vectors were constructed with the PR23-98J4 BAC clone. Two PEST sequence of mouse ornithine decarboxylase were fused to the N-terminus of EGFP (degEGFP) and inserted into the first exon of Dkk1 with a loxP-flanked PGK-Neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination excised the PGK-Neo cassette, leaving a single loxP site behind. (J:222398)
