A targeting vector containing sequence encoding a promoterless eGFP minigene, a loxP site, a triple SV40 polyA site and a PGKneo cassette followed by polyA sequence, was inserted upstream of the promoter region of the targeted gene. Another loxP site followed by the PGK promoter was inserted downstream of exon 2. The entire targeted region is flanked by FRT sites. (J:237689)
