Tg(Thy1-MBP*/EGFP)CWevn

A human myelin basic protein (MBP) N-terminal fragment containing amino acids 1-64 and fused to EGFP at its C-terminus was subcloned into exon 2 of the mouse Thy1 expression cassette. The Thy1 cassette was altered to remove exon 3 and its flanking introns, limiting expression to neural cells. (J:219504)
