A transgene consisting of an 817 bp fragment containin the conserved region, CR2, of the G2 Gata4 enhancer, 642 bp fragment containing minimal promoter from the mouse Mef2c gene, the cre cDNA, and SV40 splice and polyA signal sequence was generated. A total of 4 founder lines with similar patterns of cre activity were created. Line numbers were not specified in the original reference. (J:231985)
