An FRT site flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted into intron 13. An additional loxP site was inserted into intron 20. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and exons 14 through 20. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein in E14.5 limbs. (J:233350)
