The open coding region in exon 3 was replaced with the Tex11 open reading frame with a T to A point mutation that results in the amino acid substitution of arginine for tryptophan at position 118. This mutation corresponds to a mutation in sterile human males. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette inserted downstream of the inserted expressed sequence. (J:229429)
