The full-length murine V5-tagged Trps1 cDNA is under the control of the osteoblast and odentoblast specific 2.3-kb fragment of the collagen type I promoter. In addition a cassette containing the tyrosinase cDNA expressed from its endogenous promoter independently of Trps1 expression is upstream of the Col1a1 promoter. Seven lines were generated. Line 1 is the high expressing line, with mRNA levels in calvaria 15 times higher than wild-type littermates. (J:233272)
