The CAG promotor, a loxP-flanked neo-stop cassette, the mouse cDNA and an FRT-flanked IRES2-AcGFP1-Nuc cassette were inserted in intron 1 of the locus. Cre expression is required to excise the neo-stop cassette and allow for expression of the gene and the nucleus-targeted GFP. Flp expression is required to remove the reporter cassette. (J:233595)
