A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 5 fused to a murine cDNA (codons 165-298, PEY...SFII*) with a 3' loxP. An FRT-flanked neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 5. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:178387)
