ES cells containing Hrastm1Xbr were retargeted to introduce a G to A and an A to C substitutions at the first and last bases of codon 12 of exon 1. This results in an amino acid substitution of serine for glycine. Cre-mediated recombination was used to remove the hygro STOP cassette. The final allele contains the G12S mutation and the IRES-beta-geo cassette. (J:325021)
