The transgenic vector was constructed using the RP24-291E22 BAC from CHORI containing the entire murine Il21 gene. The iCre replaced exons 1-2 of Il21 downstream of the promoter. Founder mice line G was established and maintained in breeding transgenic mice. (J:230488)
